House Republicans, including Reps. Aaron Kaufer, Rob Mercuri, Kristin Marcell, Joe Hogan, and other members, will be gathering on Monday, December 11th, at 10 a.m. in the Ryan Building Atrium at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss an upcoming legislative package aimed at combating antisemitism in education.

Media coverage of the event is invited and encouraged. Those planning to attend should RSVP and direct any questions to Jason Gottesman at jgottesman@pahousegop.com. For those unable to attend in person, a live webstream of the event will be available on PAHouseGOP.com, as long as there are no technical difficulties.

This initiative comes at a crucial time when antisemitic incidents have been on the rise, particularly in educational institutions. The House Republicans aim to address this issue head-on and ensure that students of all backgrounds can learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

During the discussion, Rep. Aaron Kaufer expressed the importance of taking action to combat antisemitism in education. He stated, "Antisemitism has no place in our schools or society. We must take proactive measures to protect our students from hate and discrimination."

Rep. Rob Mercuri echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the need for legislative solutions. He said, "By enacting strong legislation, we can send a clear message that antisemitism will not be tolerated in our educational institutions. Our goal is to create an environment where all students feel valued and respected."

The legislative package being discussed will focus on several key areas. Rep. Kristin Marcell explained, "We want to ensure that schools have the necessary resources and training to address antisemitic incidents effectively. Additionally, we will be looking at ways to promote tolerance and understanding through educational programs."

Rep. Joe Hogan highlighted the importance of collaboration in this endeavor. He emphasized the need to work with educators, community leaders, and advocacy groups to develop comprehensive strategies. "We cannot tackle this issue alone. It requires a collective effort from all stakeholders to create lasting change," Hogan stated.

Antisemitism is a deeply concerning issue that affects not only the Jewish community but also the broader society. The House Republicans' dedication to addressing this problem through legislative action is commendable. Their upcoming discussion on the legislative package to combat antisemitism in education reflects their commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
